I am by no means a professional writer, but I have always enjoyed writing and I am glad that I get to do some writing in my career. As I write more, I find myself wanting what I always did as a kid: to write my own book. Currently, I am working on a plan to co-publish a book though MuggleNet (see below), and am toying with an outline for my own culinary-type book for the future.
MuggleNet is a fandom website for J. K. Rowling's wizarding world. The website has been around since 1999 and is almost entirely run remotely by volunteers. I have been on staff since November 2019 as a part of the Content team. In February 2020 I took on the role of Recipe Editor. I have written different types of articles for the site including, recipes, food discussion, and completely non-food related works.

In addition, I've created (or modified) and published the following recipes to MuggleNet's recipe section.
- Marshmallows (November, 2020)
- Spellbinding Nuts (November, 2020)
- Challah (May, 2021)
- Demiguise Cookies (May, 2021)
- Light Rye Bread (May, 2021)
- Occamy Pretzels (May, 2021)
- Paczki (May, 2021)
Finally, along with the website, MuggleNet publishes books and other media through our partner Topix Media Lab. I have had a hand in the following projects.
The Unofficial Harry Potter Puzzle Book

I was a formula reviewer for the Bread Bakers Guild of America for 5 years. I enjoyed being able to contribute to the community of bakers in this way. The formula editors & reviewers work together to re-write all formulas into Guild standard format for use in classes, events, and the quarterly newsletter, Bread Lines. I have also written the following articles for the magazine.
A BABKA BY ANY OTHER NAME

During college I wrote for JWU's newspaper, the Campus Herald. I joined the paper during my junior year and maintained a somewhat steady stream of articles until I left for my senior internship. I wrote on subjects ranging from local Providence food (farmers market info & restaurant reviews) to events on campus. Below is a breakdown of sections I wrote under.
- Arts & Entertainment: 6
- Culinary: 8
- Campus News: 5
